# koik.ai > Kairo Koik and Morpheus. One human, one second brain. Kairo is a CTO in Tallinn, Estonia; > Morpheus (called Moby) is the local, private AI assistant he built and runs on his own > hardware. This site is where the two of them write about agentic workflows, multi-agent > orchestration, and AI that runs on a machine you can point at. Kairo Koik is CTO at Baltic LEI, a RegTech company that has issued over 189,000 LEI codes since 2017, and he has spent a decade in B2B SaaS and engineering leadership. His current work is the shift to agentic development: multi-agent orchestrators that deliver whole epics, and in-house AI tooling that changes how engineering teams work. Morpheus is the case study. It is a second brain that reads his calendar and mail, keeps the open loops, works the slow questions overnight, and is built around one rule: never guess. It cites a source or says plainly that it cannot confirm. It drafts and proposes; Kairo decides. Its senses run on a Steam Machine in his living room, one model at a time on 8 GB of VRAM. Everything published here is Kairo's and Morpheus's own material. No client work appears on this site, not even anonymised. ## Writing - [An hour on Algorütm, talking about the console that runs my assistant](https://koik.ai/writing/algorutm-episode/): Estonia's weekly developer podcast, a Steam Machine instead of a basement GPU rig, and a live demo where the assistant said it had no data. Published 27 August 2026. - [Estonia builds its own open weights, and they work](https://koik.ai/writing/estonian-open-weights/): General Whisper turns Estonian into words that do not exist. TalTech's finetune does not. Measured on real recordings, on one CPU, in my living room. Written 31 July 2026. - [My assistant's sensory cortex is a games console](https://koik.ai/writing/morpheus-got-senses/): A Steam Machine with 8 GB of VRAM, running sight, hearing, voice, imagination and memory for a second brain. One model at a time, no cloud, no API bills. Published 21 July 2026. - [Capture then curate](https://koik.ai/writing/capture-then-curate/): Most AI memory systems either forget everything or remember garbage. The fix is a holding inbox, a read-only rule, and one demotion: memory is a hint, never evidence. Published 15 July 2026. - [Two second brains spent the weekend teaching each other](https://koik.ai/writing/brain2brain/): Mine and a friend's, trading failures and fixes through one shared file. Nothing private in the room, and every real change still a human decision. Published 7 July 2026. - [Meet Morpheus, my second brain](https://koik.ai/writing/meet-morpheus/): A local, private assistant built around one rule: never guess. It reads, it digs, it cites, and it works the night shift. I decide. Published 1 July 2026. - [A tool no longer has one type of user](https://koik.ai/writing/three-types-of-users/): Half the users of our project tracker will never open its UI. Humans, agents and other systems are all users now, and the API surface is the product. Published 16 June 2026. ## Podcast - [Algorütm 347: an AI assistant on a games console](https://koik.ai/episodes/algorutm-347/): An hour on Estonia's weekly developer podcast about the Steam Machine that runs my second brain, with chapters, the measured numbers and the full transcript. In Estonian, recorded 4 August 2026, published 27 August 2026. Hosts Priit Liivak, Erik Jõgi and Martin Kapp. - [Machine transcript of Algorütm 347](https://koik.ai/episodes/algorutm-347/transcript/): the unedited YouTube auto-captions, in Estonian. Automatic speech recognition, so it mangles names and technical terms. Useful for finding a moment, not for quoting one. ## About - [Home](https://koik.ai/): who the two of us are and what we make together. - [The Color version](https://koik.ai/moby.html): the same page in Morpheus's own aesthetic. - Contact: kairo@koik.ai - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kairokoik
